RVer Neuro In development
Cognitive activities that
do not feel like exercises.
Seven VR cognitive activities: for anyone. The patient plays; the team follows the session log live.
Paper worksheets trigger disengagement and refusal. RVer Neuro swaps the sheet and stopwatch for a calm activity in a virtual room: the patient focuses on the task, not on their own performance.
- More engagement than paper worksheets.
- Team in control: live dashboard, per-patient session logs.
- Real 3D mental rotation: only possible in VR.
- Almost no reading: the items are 3D objects; only visual search names the colour in words, and that text is translated.
- Select by touch or by pointing with the controller, with generous aim radii.
- Raw activity log: session counts and times, with no grading, thresholds, norms or any clinical interpretation.
- Difficulty is set by the team; only Block Sequence adapts to the patient.
- A module of the RVer system, enabled per device.
- Local and private: no personal data leaves the headset (GDPR).
- i
Number Trail
Alternating sequenceNumbered tiles spread around the patient: part A in numeric order, part B alternating number and letter. Attention and set-shifting activity. The session log records hits, the time for each part, and the interval between correct tiles.
- ii
Block Sequence
Block sequenceBlocks light up one at a time and the patient repeats the sequence. Working-memory activity, and the only exercise that adapts: get it right and it grows, two failures end it. The session log records the length reached, errors and times.
- iii
Focus Catch
Sustained attentionOrbs appear one at a time; the trigger only for the purple one. Sustained attention and impulse-control activity: the session log records hits, omissions, wrong-colour presses and reaction time.
- iv
Visual Search
Visual searchBalls across a wide arc with the colour to find shown at the top: it forces the patient to turn to both sides. Selective attention and visual scanning activity: those found, wrong-colour taps, the left/right split and the span covered. Raw activity counts, with no clinical interpretation.
- v
Shape Match
Mental rotationA cube figure above, three candidates below: only one is the same figure rotated, the others are different shapes. Spatial reasoning activity. Correct answers, errors, trials and the time to the right choice.
- vi
Shopping List
Prospective memoryA grocery list disappears and the patient collects the items from a shelf. Partway through, a star they were asked for at the start appears, with no reminder. Memory activity, and being 3D objects, nothing depends on reading.
- vii
Spatial Memory
Spatial memoryAn object on a marked platform vanishes, the platform turns, and the patient points to where it was. The turn forces recall of the location relative to the markers rather than to their own position: spatial memory activity.
Cognitive activities for wellbeing. It records session activity: counts, times and per-session performance; it does not assess, grade, diagnose, or replace any clinical assessment. The Class I medical device registration (Infarmed) covers the base product: RVer Motion, RVer Neuro and RVer Exposure are modules in development, not covered by the registration, developed via clinical partnership. Local, no cloud.
