Accessibility statement
What we do so that rver.pt works with a screen reader, with the keyboard only, zoomed in or with low vision, and how to tell us when something does not.
01Target level
The site follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We check pages with Google’s Lighthouse when we create or change them. On 17 October 2026, the main pages scored between 96 and 100 for accessibility.
02What is in place
- A “Skip to content” link on reading pages.
- Alternative text on images that carry content; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Text contrast checked.
- Reduced motion respected: animations stop if the system asks for it.
- Pages in Portuguese and English, with the language declared.
03What is not there yet
- The 3D brain model at the top of /estudos/ has no complete text alternative. The list of studies below it carries the same information.
- Study PDFs belong to their authors and journals and may not be accessible.
