01Before you start

The list is deliberately short. RVer runs independently and needs no integration with the management or booking systems you already use.

A power socket

To charge the headset between uses. No dedicated socket and no building work.

A minimum of space

A stable chair or couch with nothing within arm's reach. A treatment room, the relaxation area or the waiting room all work.

One person responsible

Someone on your team who takes charge of the headset and receives the training. No technical knowledge needed.

Internet: optional

Playback is 100% offline. The connection is only used for library updates, which can be done at any time.

We set everything up
We deliver the headset with the app installed and the library of environments loaded. Your team needs no technical knowledge.

Your team chooses
A simple interface to pick the environment for the moment and the time available. Full control in seconds.

The guest experiences it
An immersive session with 360° video recorded in 8K and spatial audio. The library is updated regularly, at no cost.

04The routine, afterwards

Before each session

Check the charge, fit the silicone cover and set the volume while the guest is not yet wearing the headset.

Choosing content

Your team picks the environment. RVer can sort the library and explain why it suggested something, but it does not prescribe, assess or diagnose.

After the session

A slightly damp wipe on the silicone cover, a dry microfibre cloth on the lenses, and the headset back on charge. That is all.

Updates

Automatic, at any hour, never mid-session. At no extra cost.

05Safety and hygiene

Follow these points at every session.

Someone present

Always use RVer with a trained member of staff nearby. Never leave a guest alone with the headset.

Hygiene between guests

Between users, wipe the silicone cover (one washable cover comes with the kit) with a slightly damp wipe, and clean the lenses only with a dry microfibre cloth, no liquids or alcohol.

Signs of discomfort

Stop the session if there is dizziness, nausea or discomfort. Start with short sessions and calm videos, and build up duration and intensity gradually.

Space and posture

Use a seated or reclined position, somewhere stable with nothing within arm's reach.

Comfortable volume

Set the volume to a comfortable level for the guest before starting, on the headset itself.

Data and privacy

Playback is 100% offline, with no accounts. No personal data about the guest leaves the headset. Only per-device usage statistics are sent, identifying nobody, to improve the app · GDPR compliant.

When not to use it

Do not use in cases of severe motion sickness or vestibular disorders; uncontrolled epilepsy or photosensitive seizures; or an inability to follow the safety instructions. In a venue with no health professional, these cases are simply excluded: it is not for your team to assess them.

Intended user

Trained staff. The guest is always accompanied. Not intended for self-administration or for any clinical purpose.

Serious incidents

Any serious incident involving the device must be reported to the manufacturer (hi@rver.pt) and to INFARMED, I.P.

06Where it is used

An immersive break

Short sessions of five to fifteen minutes, with the environment chosen by your team. The guest stays seated, eyes and ears somewhere else.

Filmed environments

Beaches, forests, mountains and cities in real 360° video, not animation. The library lives on the headset itself and works with no internet.

Between services

It suits the relaxation area, the waiting room and the gap between bookings: without tying up a room or a member of staff.
