ForHospitals and clinics

01Before you start

The list is deliberately short. RVer runs independently and does not require integration with existing hospital systems.

A power socket

To charge the headset between uses. No dedicated socket and no building work needed.

A minimum of space

A stable chair, with nothing within arm’s reach. A bedroom, a treatment room or a common room all work.

A person in charge

Someone on the team who takes responsibility for the headset and who we train. No technical knowledge required.

Internet: optional

Playback is 100% offline. The connection is only used for library updates, which can be run at any time.

We deliver the headset with the application installed and the scenario library loaded. Your team needs no technical knowledge.

Intuitive interface to select scenarios according to each patient's moment. Full control in seconds.

Immersive session with 8K+ video and spatial audio. Session logging and a regularly updated library.

04The routine, afterwards

Before each session

Check the charge, fit the face-pad cover, and set the volume with the user before the headset goes on.

Choosing content

The team picks the scenario. RVer can rank the library and explain why it suggested something, but it does not prescribe, assess or diagnose.

After the session

Clean the face pad and lenses, and put the headset back on charge. That is all.

Updates

Automatic, at any hour, never mid-session. At no extra cost.

05Safety and hygiene

Class I medical device (base product) · Infarmed CDM 94571546 · CE marking (MDR 2017/745). Follow these points every session.

Supervision

Always use the RVer system under supervision; never leave the user alone with the headset.

Hygiene between users

Clean the face pad and lenses between users. The kit includes a rubber pad cover: just wipe it with a cleaning wipe or damp cloth.

Signs of discomfort

Stop if dizziness, nausea or discomfort appears. Start with short sessions and calm videos, then increase duration and intensity gradually.

Space and position

Prefer seated use in a clear, stable space. For bedridden users, enable Lying-down mode.

Comfortable volume

Set a volume that is comfortable for the user before starting, on the headset itself.

Data and privacy

Playback runs 100% offline, no accounts. No clinical or personal patient data leaves the headset. Only per-device usage statistics are sent, identifying no one, to improve the app · GDPR-compliant.

Contraindications

Caution or prior clinical assessment in: severe motion sickness or vestibular disorders; uncontrolled epilepsy or photosensitive seizures; inability to follow safety instructions.

Intended user

Healthcare professionals and trained carers, in health or social-care settings. The user is always supervised. Not for self-administration.

Serious incidents

Report any serious incident to the manufacturer ([email protected]) and to Infarmed, I.P.

06Where it is used

Pain Management

One of the most researched areas for virtual reality in clinical settings.

Anxiety & Stress

Calm immersive environments, used as a non-pharmacological complement in anxiety and stress contexts.

Rehabilitation

Support for team-led exercise: guided movement, with repetitions counted automatically and every session logged.
