Ten projects, one stage
Once a year, NEXXT Ideas brings together the ideas being born in the Leiria region, presented by the people building them. This year the jury chose ten for the showcase, in panels moderated by Fernando Alvim.
RVer was on the «Social, Health and Environment» panel, alongside DIGILAB and Queres Ser Um Herói.

Why a stage in Leiria matters
RVer was born in Leiria. This is where the Palliative Care unit of ULS Leiria started using it with patients, where Academia dos Sonhos took an 80-year-old man to see the sea, and where the people who will use it are trained, at the School of Health.
Being chosen by the home jury is not an award, and we don't treat it as one. It is a sign that the region is looking at what we do and thinks it is worth showing.
